4. Transactions

PropPadi acts as a technology platform and does not buy, sell, rent, or lease properties directly. Any transaction entered into between users is at their sole risk. PropPadi may facilitate secure payment holding (escrow) where funds are released to property owners/agents only after the buyer/renter/lessee confirms satisfaction. Users are strongly advised to conduct due diligence (site visits, legal searches at the Lands Registry, verification of titles) before making payments.

5. Payments and Fees

Listings may be free or paid depending on the subscription or promotional package chosen. PropPadi charges a 10% service fee on successful sales, rentals, or leases facilitated through the Platform. Payments must be made only through PropPadi's approved payment channels. PropPadi will not be responsible for losses arising from off-platform or direct payments.

6. Fraud Prevention and User Responsibility

Users are strictly prohibited from listing fake, stolen, or misrepresented properties, engaging in advance-fee fraud ("419"), or misrepresenting their identity or ownership rights. Any fraudulent activity may be reported to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and other relevant authorities. PropPadi reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts involved in fraud or suspicious activity.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between users, PropPadi may act as a mediator but is not legally liable for enforcement of agreements. Disputes unresolved through mediation may be referred to arbitration in Nigeria under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Nigeria). Users retain the right to pursue claims through Nigerian courts if necessary.

8. Limitation of Liability

PropPadi does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legal validity of any property listing.
